ABOUT US
Welcome! We are Ryan and Deann. We are nestled in the beautiful region of South Central Iowa between Pella and Knoxville. We have had a number of different dogs throughout our life while raising our family, but there is nothing to us that compares to a Golden Retriever. They are true companions!
Our family has been actively involved in raising and showing cattle for many years. Through this experience, we’ve developed a deep respect for responsible animal husbandry and the dedication required to care for animals at the highest level.
Deann is the heart of our operation and the primary caregiver on our farm. She oversees the daily care, enrichment, and well-being of our animals, ensuring they are raised in a nurturing, hands-on environment.
We approached this journey with intention and diligence. We have thoroughly researched best practices, established detailed health and care protocols, and developed a structured curriculum to support early development and socialization. With the guidance of excellent mentors and a commitment to continual learning, we are confident in our ability to provide exceptional puppies and an outstanding experience for every family we serve.

MAPLE LANE?
Why
Not knowing exactly where to begin, we started with something simple: a driveway and 40 maple trees lining the lane leading home.
Fast forward 20 years, and we can see just how much this land has given us. It did not just hold our home, it helped raise our family. But beyond that, it shaped who we are. It taught us hard lessons, strengthened our work ethic, and filled our lives with humility, grace, joy, and deep satisfaction.
In many ways, dogs do the same. They teach love, compassion, humility, and grace. They nourish our souls, much like this land has nourished our lives.
Maple Lane is more than a place. It is our story, our legacy, and now a way for our family to bless others.
